Did you know the French Bulldog has its roots from England? The Frenchie was deliberately bred to be a miniature bulldog. As English lace-makers moved to France following the Industrial Revolution, they brought their mini-bulldogs with them. These toy bulldogs quickly became the rage and were seen as fashionable companions to all facets of Parisian society. The breed developed into a small, compact, muscular bulldogs with large heads, smooshy noses, and narrow hips. And of course, the breed has the distinctive bat-like or Yoda-like ears.

French Bulldogs make wonderful family pets. They are great with children. They are also the comedians of the dog world. A Frenchie is a laugh-a-minute pet. They cannot help but bring a smile to your face with their antics. If you want to find out more about this wonderful breed? Click Here
